Shipping and Delivery
Triple Point Biologics ships from Sudbury, Ontario with cold-chain packaging on every order. North American transit is 2–5 business days; international is 4–7 days direct, faster via distributors.
Triple Point Biologics ships from Sudbury, Ontario, Canada. All antibodies are temperature-sensitive proteins — the storage buffer keeps them stable, but excursions above 4 °C for extended periods can degrade titre. Every shipment includes cold-chain packaging and tracking, and most orders ship the same business day if placed before 12:00 noon Eastern Time.
North American destinations
Canadian orders ship via Canada Post or Purolator with standard ground service and arrive in 2–3 business days. United States orders ship via FedEx International Ground or UPS Worldwide Express, typically arriving in 3–5 business days depending on destination. Mexican orders ship via FedEx International Priority in 5–7 business days. Expedited overnight options are available for time-sensitive experiments — specify at checkout or in your purchase order. All North American shipments cross at least one international border (Canada-US), so brief customs holds are normal and don't compromise the cold chain.
International destinations
For the United Kingdom and Germany, ordering through 2BScientific is recommended — they hold local stock and ship within their territories without customs delays. For mainland China, Dakewe Biotech handles distribution. For other territories — Japan, South Korea, India, Australia, Brazil, Continental Europe outside Germany — we ship directly via FedEx International Priority in 4–7 business days. International orders pass through the destination country's customs; brief holds (24–72 hours) for biological reagent inspection are common and we package accordingly with appropriate documentation.
Cold-chain packaging
Every antibody ships in an insulated container with gel ice packs sized to the destination and season — more ice for summer shipments and longer transit times. For long-distance international shipments we use dry ice. The container is rated to maintain temperature below 8 °C for at least 72 hours from departure, which covers our standard transit windows with margin. On arrival, transfer the antibody to −20 °C storage as soon as practical — the buffer system tolerates short excursions to room temperature without immediate damage, but extended warm storage will reduce titre.
Tracking
Tracking numbers are emailed automatically when the shipment is picked up. For most destinations you'll receive real-time tracking through the carrier's portal — FedEx, UPS, Canada Post, or Purolator depending on route. If a shipment is delayed in customs for more than five business days, contact us through the contact form and we'll engage the carrier directly. Lost shipments are replaced at our expense; this is rare but does happen.
If a package arrives compromised
If the cold-chain packaging arrives obviously warm (gel packs fully melted, container hot to the touch), or if the antibody vial arrives with visible precipitate that doesn't redissolve, contact us immediately through the contact form with photos. We replace compromised shipments without question. Do not use the antibody from a compromised shipment for important experiments — the validation we publish assumes the reagent arrived in good condition, and a heat-damaged antibody can produce misleading results that look superficially normal.
