Every Triple Point antibody ships with a lot-specific Certificate of Analysis. Request a copy for any catalog antibody, current or prior lot.
Every Triple Point antibody ships with a lot-specific Certificate of Analysis (CoA) summarising the QC data for that particular production lot. The CoA is the document your PI, quality system, or pharma collaborators will want to see when validating a new reagent. If you've misplaced the original CoA, need one for a lot you already have, or want to confirm what's on the CoA before purchasing, you can request a copy through the contact form.
What's on a Triple Point CoA
The Certificate of Analysis is a one-page PDF that lists the product name and catalog number, the lot number, the host species (rabbit), the clonality (polyclonal), the immunogen used to raise that lot, the affinity purification method, the protein concentration in mg/mL, the storage buffer composition (typically PBS with 0.02% sodium azide), the recommended storage temperature, the validated applications (WB) with starting dilution range, and the test results from the lot release panel. Lots that pass release QC are dated and signed; lots that fail are not shipped.
How to request a CoA
Submit a request through the contact form with the catalog number, the lot number printed on the vial label (format: typically a four to six character alphanumeric), and your email address. We respond within one business day during Sudbury, Ontario business hours. CoAs are sent as PDF attachments. If you don't have the lot number to hand — for instance, because you're vetting a potential purchase before ordering — we can send a representative CoA from the current lot for reference; the actual CoA for the lot you receive will accompany the shipment.
Lot tracking and traceability
Lot numbers on Triple Point CoAs trace back to the specific rabbit, immunisation date, affinity column run, and QC date. For multi-year studies where lot continuity matters, we recommend ordering in larger quantities from a single lot rather than re-ordering periodically — aliquoted single-lot inventory is more reliable than even closely-matched cross-lot inventory. Auditable QC records
For institutional or pharma audits requiring access to underlying QC data — raw Western blot images, titre measurements, affinity column traces — we provide audit packets on request under an appropriate confidentiality agreement. Triple Point's production records are kept for the full life of each lot plus seven years.
